Janelle Meyer, MD
Dr. Meyer obtained her medical degree from the University of Utah School Of Medicine and completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona, acting as Chief Resident for a year. In 2012 she completed her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Oregon Health Science University.
Dr. Meyer is triple board certified in Medical Oncology (cancer care), Hematology (blood disorders), and Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Hematology Oncology of Salem, Dr. Meyer was an Assistant Professor at Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Meyer and her husband, a Willamette University professor, and two young boys have moved to the Salem area, and are looking forward to settling closer to their extended families. When she is away from the office Dr. Meyer enjoys swimming, traveling, and keeping up with her active young sons. Dr. Meyer is “excited to be here and become a part of the Salem community.”
